Every Sunday morning, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., children between the ages of 2 and 12 are welcomed into an inspiring and joyful environment where Italian comes to life. Far beyond a traditional classroom, our weekend program invites young learners to discover the Italian language through stories, songs, images, movement, and creative activities.
Our approach is carefully tailored to each age group, using the Montessori and Bortolato methods to respect the natural pace of every child’s development. Children are not only introduced to Italian words and sounds — they experience the culture as a living, breathing part of their weekly routine. With small group sizes, experienced teachers, and themed lessons that celebrate Italian holidays, traditions, and everyday life, every Sunday becomes a stepping stone toward confidence, communication, and curiosity.
🎨 A Hands-On, Authentic, and Engaging Learning Experience
Our Italian Weekends 4 Kids program is built on the idea that children learn best through doing — with their hands, their senses, and their hearts. We use only the most trusted educational materials, including Erickson’s Analogical Tablets and specially designed Montessori tools, to create a concrete and meaningful learning journey. Children get to explore Italian culture by preparing pretend pizzas, watering aromatic herbs, listening to folk tales, singing together, and even reenacting daily life in Italy.
For example, younger students may engage in sensory exploration and language play, while older learners move on to reading and simple writing using analogical strips and visual prompts. Every activity is designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and memorable. Even students with no prior knowledge of Italian are guided step by step in a structured, friendly environment where fun and learning go hand in hand.

The upcoming edition of Italian Weekends 4 Kids is set to begin in early September and will run across a full academic cycle, offering an immersive and structured Italian language experience for children. The programme spans 34 weeks, for a total of 102 hours of instruction, delivered through engaging, age-appropriate lessons designed to build language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence.
Classes are held in a dedicated children’s learning environment within our Global Network locations, carefully selected to be safe, accessible, and family-friendly. Each student receives tailored learning materials aligned with their age and level. Sibling discounts may apply, subject to local centre policies.
